Bird Is The Word

Our new challenge word for Sunday, August 28th is MEMORY (or a variation of the word, such as memories). Your challenge is to use this word in a title or as journaling on your page. Please link up your page / project over here when it is complete! I cannot wait to see what you create....we had a record number of entries for the DREAM challenge. Hopefully we can do the same for this challenge.

Just a reminder that when you post your work to your blog, please give credit to the Bird is the Word challenge site. The majority of you already do this, so this is just a friendly reminder.

Also, I have one more exciting preview announcement. Bird is the Word is going to be looking for new design team members and you are all invited. The official announcement will be made on September 1st. We are especially looking for a design team member who will create a sketch for us every two weeks, so if you or if you know anyone who is interested, please pass along this information.

Here is my layout:

The rest of my layouts are for upcoming challenges. So you will have to wait for my shares next month.

Today also is my eldest daughter, Kayley's Birthday. She woke up really early at 6am and decided everyone else needed to be up too as well so she could open her presents. This year was great as she is into cooking. So in the next few months i am going to have a Masterchef in the house....LOL...

So did you finally make it....LOL...

I told you it would be long.....

Thanks for stopping by..

A While.....

Its been a while since my last post sooooo.....

WARNING

Loooooonnnnngggggg post......LOL

We decided to have a fun family day last Sunday by taking a 1 hr drive to the snow. We had a great time and surprise surprise the girls lasted longer before they winged that they were cold and wet!!!!!

We always make a trip to the snow each year if we can and this year was one of the best....maybe cause the girls have grown up.

On Monday , Emma had to travel to Gundagai to play touch football for her school. They had a great day....pitty the parent didn't!!! It rained on and off the whole day. By the end i was sick of putting the umbrella up and down ....LOL. Emma got Best & Fairest for the Franklin girls team. Here are some action shots...

And last night we had the pleasure of "BERTIE " Bear sleep over from school. Bridget absolutely loved having him and he did go everywhere with her. Nan even gave him a knitted beanie to keep warm.

So ....

Now you probably think i don't have a life...LOL....but somehow i manage to squeeze some scrapping in between all the family going on's....

The Scrappiest

I just love doing Liz's sketches and i get really disappointed if i miss one due to lack of time. She offers such a great variety and very open to interpretation.
